Because some of the best mountains in the East Coast are located in the Green State – Vermont’s nickname. Such famous slopes like Killington Resort, Mount Snow and my favorite tucked away near Canada is Jay Peak. So how do you get yourself from the bright lights to the steep slopes – ski bus trips.
You can find Saturday ski bus trips to Stratton, VT, as they call them Stratturdays. Sounds pretty solid. Stratton Mountain is the home slope of the US Open and four high speed lifts to keep you satisfied.
Killington Resort in Vermont is the most famous and not to be missed. 140 trails away as you get of the NYC ski bus and the “Beast” awaits you. Know as the mountain that opens first and closes last they are always ready for NYC skiers. Killington day trips are usually around $69.
Stowe is also not to be missed especially when a three day trip with lift lodge and bus is only $349. Stowe is a great mountain for all types of riders so get your kids, girlfriends or mothers with you on the NY ski bus.
