It's a place where history is palpable everywhere, especially in the restored Brockville Railway Tunnel, the first of its kind in Canada, which leads walkers from the waterfront to the city's hub. Late Victorian and Edwardian era architecture is captured at the stately Fulford Place Museum and the world-famous castles that make up the Thousand Islands archipelago. With the St. Lawrence river on Brockville's doorstep, visitors can enjoy historic cruises through the region or get their feet wet with fishing, kayaking, and scuba diving.

Whether you're after comfort food or a healthy meal, Brockville's waterfront restaurant scene has got you covered. The city is also home to a handful of microbreweries and cideries that allow visitors to experience local culture in the form of a refreshing alcoholic beverage.

Boasting a small-town vibe with a vibrant art scene, the city will appeal to all kinds of travelers. Ottawa’s star attraction is the Rideau Canal, which meanders its way through the city center.
