Pros: The trip from Washington to Springfield. Cons: The train car from Jacksonville to Washington was very hot. We asked about it and was told it could not be adjusted. Much later it was adjusted. Tips: It was our first time traveling by train.

Founded in 1636 as the first Springfield in North America, this city sits on the eastern bank of the Connecticut River in Massachusetts.
