Pros: This was my first time riding Amtrak. I loved being able to see the winter scenery out the window from Portland to Eugene. The 3 hour trip flew by. Cons: The Amtrak departed 2 hours late. I was waiting at the Amtrak station the whole time; no one gave any notice as to why the train was late or when it would arrive. Thankfully I didn't have anywhere to be urgently, but this definitely impacts my likelihood to use Amtrak again in the future. The wifi was pretty slow on board.
