Amtrak Coast Starlight

Pros: The weather was terrjbl. Cons: Someone should have been out there and shoveled the walk. When I arrived in Vancouver no one helped me with my bags and it was very slippery. I had three bags and a purse which would have been fine under normal conditions. These were not normal conditions and here should have been someone to help. I had recently had neck surgery and when I decided to take the train I asked if there would be some help and they said yes. Income from a long line of Railroaders, from Passenger back in the day to UPRR. I don’t complain for no reason. Holiday travel should not be short handed as far as employees. This R/T travel just added to the Holiday frustrations that we’re going on. Tips: Make sure you are getting what you deserve when traveling.
