14 February 2020- Solo travel

Greyhound

Pros: I liked the cost of the trip and that there were multiple departure times offered for my city-to-city destination (small towns might have fewer options?). Cons: The station in both Oakland, CA and the arts district in LA could be kept a bit cleaner. Tips: The ambient temperature in the coach was quite cool so dress warmly and/or bring a blanket. I sat near the driver and he kept the temperature at 66 degrees to start (10:30 PM) and raised it to about 70 degrees a few hours later (1:30 AM). This was mid-February in California.

Add new more comfortable seating , When purchasing tickets have the option of picking your seats because space is very limited and not organized. Tips: You get what you pay for don’t expect any more than that.

Pros: Time perfect. Cons: Luggage cost and provide the bills for what you are charging the customer. Tips: I was charged $20 for a small bag and I didn’t get any receipt for the same from the driver who charged me for it. I feel it’s illegal anyway.
