Pros: I got a free upgrade for a reserved seat, which was nice. It was a window seat. Cons: More seating in the waiting area at the Chinatown NYC Location, friendlier staff, as well as more knowledgeable and prepared staff able to handle rude customers (like a woman who was yelling at the teller). Tips: Bring a neck pillow.

Eastern Bus has been bought by FlixBus. Book with FlixBus as it is a bit confusing with an Eastern Ticket (they accept them but can’t look them up or edit the reservation at all)

Pros: The price. Literally nothing else. Cons: Customer service, punctuality, communication, location of pickup was terrible. Tips: Do not ride with FlixBus. Worst bus experience I’ve ever had. Worth paying triple the price not to go through the AWFUL customer service. If you’re on any sort of schedule this is not the right service, they were >1.5 hours late for pickup and no one in customer service could provide updates on where the bus was or IF it was coming. No explanation at all once on the bus.

Pros: amazing price - even had my own outlet! Cons: the bathroom was a bit dirty, but after a 4 hour bus ride, that’s to be expected.

Pros: Did not like the fact they spent 2 hrs picking people from all over nyc. All announcements in Chinese. Difficult to know about the exact stops. 4 pm trip was originally supposed to arrive in Rockville at 930. Reached after 11pm. Not worth the bargain. Bus was clean and comfortable though. Cons: Clear and transparent itinerary.

The boarding process was difficult, as the driver could not scan some tickets.

Pros: Nothing. Cons: The AC was on blast the whole time so everyone was cold. The driver didn’t know where he was going and got lost. On top of that the bus was also an hour late and when it got there the people checking the tickets were rude. Tips: Take Bolt, Greyhound, or Ourbus.

Pros: Nothing. Cons: Needs a new bus. My 7am bus did not show and the next bus with availablilty wasn’t until 2pm. Smh. Tips: Don’t book Peter Pan.
