The air conditioning in the bus was VERY cold making the trip a bit uncomfortable. There is no need for air conditioning when the weather is not hot and humid. It was cool outside. The vent over my seat could not be closed so there were cold drafts throughout the trip. There should always be a way for passengers to avoid the air conditioning if it has to be on. Not everybody likes air flowing during the trip.

Pros: This was my first experience taking the bus and it was a great experience ! Tips: For the first time travels these things will be helpful to know: 1. This is an express bus trip that won’t make any stops for food or drinks. 2. Your confirmation number and your First and last name will be your good to ride the bus. 3. Be prompt on being at your bus stop as it leaves right on time. 4. Make sure to bring a warm clothes for the bus as it gets pretty cold!

Pros: Very well. Cons: The 3rd party party (for booking the trips) told that ticket be required for boarding. But the the 3rd party just provided booking confirmation. The staff on bus could not find my name on the list of passengers. But the staff accepted my confirmation number and allowed me to board, though. This communication discrepancy should be fixed. Tips: N/A.

Pros: The drivers were excellent, safe driving, timely communication - very much appreciated! Cons: The bus was kind of old. The feet/leg support had only 1 position - down almost on the floor, which defeats the purpose. On newer buses you can set the leg support height in 2-3 positions from way up to lower. Very needed! for longer trips 2+ hrs. There was basically no overhead space for smaller luggage. Wi-Fi connection was so slow that the pages were NOT loading. I had to disconnect. Fix it!

Pros: During my trip to New York, the ride felt safe and comfortable. The driver clearly communicated the expectations, including the DOs and DON’Ts, which I appreciated. However, on the return trip to Virginia, there was a concerning incident. The driver was speeding, and when attempting to avoid hitting the car in front of us, he braked abruptly. As a result, a young man seated in the front passenger area was thrown forward with significant force, hitting his head and legs. He was clearly caught off guard. I was seated in the left front seat, so I was able to see clearly. What troubled me most was the driver’s response. Rather than checking on the passenger’s well‑being, he repeatedly stated, “You should have worn a seat belt,” in a dismissive and rude tone. While it is understood that passengers are responsible for wearing seat belts, compassion and concern are essential once an incident has occurred. The young man remained polite and even apologized, but the driver’s lack of empathy was disappointing and unprofessional. Cons: I believe if authorities communicate with their employees about public reviews, there will be improvement on issues and concerns. Tips: NA.

Pros: Bus driver and staff were kind. Cons: Bathroom stopped functioning within first hour.

Cons: This bus always arrives an hour late. I’ve been taking this route for 3 years and it never has arrived within 4 hours as it says on the iterninary. Always at least 5 hours. I don’t mind because I can plan ahead and know that that’s how long it takes but for people who haven’t taken this bus before I think it’s unfair and they need to update that time to be more truthful and help people plan their travel accordingly. Pros: Convenient. Cons: I did not see any place to charge my phone. Tips: Bring headphones. Some passengers did not have headphones and it was annoying.

Pros: Was so much quieter than the train. So easy getting on at Alewife in Cambridge.- bus was clean, got in early. Would definitely use again. Cons: Seat reclining. I thought I read there was WiFi on these buses but I didn’t see any signs about it or anything.
