Brockville, also known as the City of the 1000 Islands, is one of the oldest railway hubs in Canada. In 2009, VIA Rail built a new terminal to replace the historic 1872 Brockville station. The new station is located on Perth Street near downtown Brockville. Since the sweeping renovation, the station has been running trains from Toronto to Ottawa and Montreal. At the wheelchair-accessible station, you will find an indoor waiting area, restrooms, and telephones. Outside, there is an ample amount of parking space available. The station opens 30 minutes before the first train arrives for the day and closes 30 minutes after the last train departs. However, working hours may change due to unforeseen circumstances like local events, holidays, and extreme weather.

Gare du Palais is an intermodal transportation station in Québec City. Built in 1915, the station gets its name from its proximity to the Palace of the Intendant of New France. Because of its immense cultural value, the station was named a Heritage Railway Station in 1992.
