Amtrak Capitol Corridor

Pros: That there was a station in Fremont. Cons: There was a group of around 20 passengers who were there early and waiting on the north side of the tracts (after we checked with a prior train porter about which side was correct). But the train came on the south side and we all had to run to catch it. I’m 83 and carrying my bag and running was a real hardship.

Pros: This is the way to get from San Francisco to Sacramento. Comfortable and faster than by car. I used a rental car last time, but this probably cut off an hour in time. Tips: Bring your own food.
