Amtrak

Pros: Everything was awesome on my Amtrak Bus>Train.Bus ride from LA Union Station to Fremont . . but 2 delays occurred. Another freight train broke ahead of us during train ride, caused a 30-ish minute delay. I got worried I would miss connecting bus but I was assured bus won't leave until I get there. That was a true fact. Then on the final connecting bus to Fremont the ADA lift mechanism malfunctioned as wheelchair passenger was boarding. It took creativity, cooperation & muscle to remedy situation but that caused another hour delay. I am not complaining . . . these are 1st world problems. Drive, fly or Amtrak bus/ train from SoCal to Norcal? Amtrak it no doubt!!!! Cons: Test ADA lift mechanisms on buses before use. Tips: want to save money & have first class level airline seats? Amtrak!
