High Point to Rocky Mount train

High Point is a city located in the Piedmont region, just outside Greensboro. It's the only city in North Carolina that extends into four counties. High Point is known for having quirky outdoor attractions, like the World's Largest Chest of Drawers and the Kersey Valley Spookywoods. Depending on your preference, the city also has family-friendly locations like pools, water parks, amusement rides, ziplining, and nature parks, from the Archdale Recreation Center at Creekside Park to the High Point City Lake Park. High Point has several history and art museums, including the High Point Museum and Nido & Mariana Qubein Children's Museum.

As for nightlife, High Point has a lot of locations for its adults, ranging from bars and taverns to dance nightclubs and sports bars. High Point also has several breweries and wineries in the city that contribute to the nightlife. Downtown High Point is the entertainment district, popular for the High Point Market and other local stores and restaurants.

High Point is easy to visit by train or bus from neighboring cities. Amtrak, Amtrak Crescent, Amtrak Piedmont, and Amtrak Carolinian provide the train lines to the city, while the Tornado Bus provides the bus lines. The High Point Transit System provides the transportation system in the city.

Rocky Mount is a beautiful part of Eastern North Carolina and has plenty of things to do for everyone. The pristine Rocky Mount Mills, the city's excellent (and kid-friendly) parks, restaurants, and locations to get some beer are among our favorites.

In Rocky Mount, there are a plethora of enjoyable opportunities to get outside and experience nature. Whether you prefer gaming, water, or hiking, they've got you covered. The Sunset Amusement Park, for instance, has a train, a splash pad, a carousel, a skate park, a playground, a disc golf course, tennis courts, and so much more! For $5 a day, you can use the park or rent it out for your next event.

The Imperial Centre brings together some of Rocky Mount's top attractions in one location. For starters, the Community Theatre is a great place to see and participate in a production. A hands-on science museum is also available for children. Your children will have a great time learning about and exploring the world around them. On-site is the Cummins Planetarium, which has the most up-to-date full-dome video and laser light performances. In addition, the Arts Center is packed with exhibits and courses where you can create your own masterpiece.

Wanda Coach services the area with a fleet of buses, and Amtrak has several train lines going from Baltimore, Washington, Newark, and New York to Rocky Mount.
