Prague to Split bus

With storied churches and beautiful castles, Prague was once the hidden gem of Europe, and it has now revealed its beauty to the world. Prague’s prized landmark is the majestic Prague Castle, which is the largest castle complex in the world. The castle is an amalgamation of many different architectural styles, making it a very special destination to visit. You might even get to see the president of Czechia as well, since it is his office! If you simply want to stroll around and enjoy the vibe of the city, head for the Old Town Square, which has seen very few changes since its conception in the 12th century. If you are not afraid of a little hiking, head to Petrin Hill, which is one of the largest green areas in the city. The area also houses the Rose Garden and Seminary Garden, featuring more than 2,100 trees.

Prague’s food scene is not as well-known as other famous cities’, but the local dishes such as knedlíky or bramboráky will pleasantly surprise you. La Degustation Boheme Bourgeoise is a Michelin-starred restaurant that offers amazing Czech dishes. For local beers, don’t hesitate to check out U Medvídku.

Praha hlavní nádraží is the largest international train station in Prague and it’s located right in the heart of the city. Not too far from the train station is Prague’s central bus station. The principal airport in the city is the Václav Havel Airport Prague.

Located on the picturesque Adriatic Coast, Split is the second-largest city in Croatia. With a history including Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian, and Yugoslav rule, Split has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its many historic attractions and strikingly varied architecture.

The Palazzo di Diocleziano lies at the city's historic heart. This exceptionally well-preserved 4th-century palace showcases the Roman emperor Diocletian's stately retirement home and military camp. Walk along the Roman streets with their original paving stones, and see if you can identify several "Game of Thrones" filming locations. After walking through the maze of cobblestone streets in Old Town, sit in one of the many cafes in People's Square for an afternoon coffee.

For even more of a taste of Croatia, visit one of the local restaurants. As Split is a coastal town, seafood dishes are the standard, but the flavors are far above standard! Make sure to try brudet, a traditional seafood stew commonly served along the Croatian coast. Finish your meal with mandulat, a traditional dessert from the Dalmatia region, made with honey and almonds.

You can easily reach Split from many national and international destinations. Split Airport offers international flights, and an airport shuttle bus provides easy access to the city. Bus services connect Split to many cities across Europe, including Budapest, Berlin, and Bratislava. Deutsche Bahn trains even run all the way to Split, so you can travel the entire length of Central Europe.
