Orlando enjoys an average of 233 days of sunshine a year, so even though it's one of the cheapest cities to visit over Spring Break, you'll soak up that sweet, sweet sun almost any time of year.

Craving the ocean? Head a few hours outside Orlando for some of Florida's gorgeous beaches like New Smyrna Beach, Cocoa Beach, and the Canaveral National Seashore. Two large airports, as well as many bus and train companies with service in the area, mean that traveling from Orlando to other sunny Florida destinations and beyond is a breeze.

Midland is famous because of Interstate 20, a highway where millions of cars pass through every year. However, Midland is not just a city to breeze by. It's also suitable for a couple of night's stay. It has lots of things to offer, such as galleries, parks, historic sites, and shopping areas, as well as some sports-oriented fun and entertainment.

If you would like to know more about Midland's history, visit the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum. There's also the Alamo’s first bell located at the Haley Library that's worth checking out. Other museums of interest include the Midland County Historical Museum and Museum of the Southwest.

Those who love the outdoors will surely enjoy Midland's many parks, nature centers, and golf courses. Over at Beal Park and C.J. Kelley Park, visitors can try their hand at fishing. For golfing, the go-to places are the Midland Country Club and Hogan Park Golf Course. Nature trips, on the other hand, are best experienced at the Sibley Nature Center.

Nightlife and entertainment never run dry in Midland at all. For sumptuous food, check out Bourbon Street downtown and Rockin' Rodeo at Loop 250. If you want to do some specialty shopping or are looking for seasonal gifts, drop by the Alldredge Gardens – you'll definitely find what you're looking for.

There isn't a shortage of transportation options at Midland, since it is located right at Interstate 20. There are shuttle services, taxis, and EZ-Rider buses running all over the city. Midland is served by the Midland International Air and Space Port – good luck booking a seat on a spaceship, though. You might have a better shot with ground travel like Tornado Bus and El Expreso Bus to travel from Midland to destinations throughout Texas and beyond.
