Amtrak Thruway

Pros: The driver was exceptionally orgranizecd and a no-nonsense one. He clearly detailed his expectations as far as behavior/rules on the bus as well as the next destantion with approximnate times. For anyone riding the bus for the first time, the bus drivier constantly giving us the Where, When, and Why?, will help take of the edge as we travel. Also, knowing that he took the no tolerance for loud music, conversations seriously, made my ride a lot more comfortable ane enjoyable. Cons: The excellent bus driver, clean bus and bathroom were exceptionally top tier. Accessing the wifi was a challenge. It was dissapointing to see a video pop up not knowing that the wifi options would be available immediately. To anyone trying to access the wifi would probably think the following; a. Why am I watching this video? b. Where is the wifi selection? c. Where is the FREE wifi selection? If there was an indication taht you had to finish watching the video. A message. A note. A reminder that said," To access the free wifi, please watch the vidoe until the end" . This sort of instruction would have helped me with accesing the free wifi. In addition, it was hard finding the "free wifi". The next window popped up for "premium" acess but charged. The lettering for the wifie was too wordy and you really had to concentrate to find "the free wifi". Tips: 1. Communicate with the bus driver before baording the bus. Make sure he/she knows what your final destiantion is despite him asking you. This way he/she know may remember and remind you. 2. Avoid drinking alcohol or smoking on the bus. We all need to get to our destiantion. A lot of us are exhausted and sensitive to noise. Your behavior will cause too much problems for the bus driver, the passengers and those who need to take care of you. 3. Travel light. You don't need those extra outfits! Some, undergarments, socks, and appropriate clothing for the local weather. 4. Present yourself as a representative of your city and/or state. You will meet a lot of people on your way to your final destination. it's nice to leave a great impression of who you are and whee you are from!
