Amtrak Thruway

Pros: The Driver did a Great job, beings that the trip was from Seattle to Mt Vernon on the Friday of Labor Day weekend! The traffic actually behaved. I think we only came to a complete stand still 1or 2 times during the whole trip. We were about 10-15 minutes behind schedule due to the heavy traffic, but any well seasoned travelers should know to expect times to shift, especially during Holiday Times. Overall 8.5/10. Cons: It seems the world has left covid in the past. There were ZERO protocols in place. Passengers were not wearing any PPD's nor the Driver. As people were lined up to board, everyone was heal to toe with each other, not even 3 feet of space let alone 6. This was my only negative feeling. I had my PPD and felt like the outcast because I was the only one wearing a mask. COVID IS STILL REAL! NOW WE HAVE MONKEY POX! Tips: Respect other people's space due to covid. Be more patient with workers who are overworked due to staff shortages. Just plain and simply BE MORE KIND TO OTHERS & AND STOP BEING SELFISH!

Pros: Comfortable, affordable and straightforward. Cons: Finding how and where to catch this bus was a challenge! Zero signage, zero information. The only way I found it was Stopping a series of strangers who bit by bit were able to help me find the proper building and then the secret unmarked spot where the unmarked bus was parked. Tips: See above.
