26 July 2022- Visiting friends

Amtrak

Pros: I like that I was able to work comfortably on the whole right to my destination. I also enjoyed the views and appreciated that boarding and off boarding was quick and efficient. Cons: Signage at the stations. The Glendale station had no one to assist me with directions. Meanwhile, in San Diego’s Santa Fe Depot stop, they have signage for a line to be formed. Tips: I would fully take advantage on taking the Amtrak vs. sitting in traffic or driving for so long.

11 June 2022- Visiting family

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner

Pros: Everything was very good except: 1. the older lady who was sitting (she was in charge) for food & beverages was extremely rude, unprofessional & out of line. On the other hand her younger associate was very kind & nice. 2. The train arrived to Glendale station 30 min late of its schedule time. Cons: To be announced by the station if the train is late of its normal schedule. The improvement of the employee who had displayed a very rude attitude towards us. Tips: Enjoy your trip. Business class is more expensive but it's good.

25 November 2021- Visiting family

Amtrak

Pros: The trip was easy, comfortable and was better than driving the 300 miles to see family! Cons: Buy up some more track! (Oh well...) Making sure light bulbs in the cars are replaced to keep them lit, but that's about it. Keep up the good work! Tips: Wear a mask if required.
