Pros: I happened to get a great seat on a sold out train and the conductor was very jolly which was fun for a Christmas trip. Cons: More space for larger bags and fixing the seat cushions to the seats so they don’t slide off. Tips: Take the first seat you see and arrive to the station early.

Pros: Very comfortable and spacious seats. Staff was very nice. Ticket price was so inexpensive compared to airline ticket. Cons: nothing. it was great. Tips: this was our first Amtrak and will certainly not be our last.
