23 February 2024- Visiting friends

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: This was my first time riding on Amtrak I’d say overall it was average I didn’t expect for the train to stop at every railroad stop but then maybe it’s me since I’ve never ridden Amtrak before the seats were comfortable. WiFi sucked. Would I do it again? Not sure. Cons: WiFi. The staff could’ve been more helpful.

6 June 2023- Business

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: Boarding was easy and straightforward. Although I got a bit lost on the train, the staff were very helpful in directing me in the right direction. I sat in the quiet car to focus on finishing a presentation. The quiet atmosphere was heavily enforced by the staff which made the experience quite enjoyable. Cons: I think making it clear on the ticket what number car to board would be helpful. I boarded on business by accident when I needed to get to coach. Also, making the numbers on the cars easier to notice. If there were any, I did not see them. Tips: You can bring snacks and food on board, but please be respectful of cleaning up after yourself. Sometimes the soap is out in the bathroom, bring some hand sanitizer in your bag or travel soap.
