Amtrak Empire Builder

Pros: The train is very relaxing and even on a 6+-hour train ride, it never feels that long. The attendant in our car, Jake, was very helpful and funny. Cons: The Empire Builder still doesn't have WiFi on board, and I don't believe there was an observation car on my train.

Amtrak Empire Builder

Pros: effient and friendly. Cons: more luggage room. However, the worker was a pro with moving luggage around to make things fit.

25 October 2021- Visiting family

Amtrak Empire Builder

Pros: I was fortunate to get a seat without another person sitting next to me. Cons: Allow all passengers to dine in the dining car. Apparently it is reserved only for those who have purchased a private room for travel. When the announcement was made that the dining car was open, it was not said specific to private rm guests only.

11 August 2019- Visiting family

Amtrak Empire Builder

Pros: It was an adventure.... Cons: More info about seats; it was confusing on where to go once we got on the train! Downstairs, or upstairs...? Female attendant was a bit crabby...like she had answered the same questions numerous times and she was sick of repeating herself! Tips: Sit back and enjoy the ride; watch the people and scenery! Make new friends with the other passengers, you might make a new friend!
