7 October 2019- Visiting friends

Amtrak Crescent

Pros: I liked the ability to get up whenever and use the bathroom at my convenience. The cafe cart served me efficiently and kindly. I liked how the employees helped you get to the correct destination. Cons: What could be improved is better communication on where to get onto the train so there isn't a build up in one spot and having the stress of finding a seat. Tips: Make sure to visit the cafe cart.

7 September 2019- Vacation

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: Train travel is pretty stress free. Beats driving! Cons: The location of each stop should be announced allowing time for travelers to collect their belongings, as well as the following stop. Tips: If someone is going to be picking you up at your destination, they may want to check ahead to see if the train is on schedule. It is not uncommon for a train to be held up by slow-moving freight trains in front of them or problems at stops that can't be anticipated.
