15 November 2022- Solo travel

Amtrak Silver Service

Pros: The trip was well handled and comfortable. Cons: Unfortunately I had to sit with a slightly mentally ill individual behind me that kept laughing and talking to himself all night, and through the entire 22 hr trip. There were others also that were uncomfortable with the situation. There were also a couple of individuals smoking in the restroom units, they were warned by staff, but nothing was actually done. It's possible that they could not identify the individuals or find them after they exited the restroom. Tips: Be on time, it makes the trip much easier when boarding.

22 July 2019- Visiting family

Amtrak Silver Service

Do not sit next to people traveling with kids , especially babies . They tend to cry the whole trip and make big messes . I had this family sitting in front of me with 2 babies and like 3 children and it was like a zoo . Once that family left in Orlando they way they left the cart was so disgusting,, they where loud and annoying . I rather travel a million times with old people then children
