19 March 2022- Visiting friends

Amtrak Coast Starlight

Pros: I liked that the person putting us on trains let me sit by someone I wanted to. I also appreciated the food services - I asked for a refill of hot water multiple times and the person behind the counter was very accommodating. Cons: I would have liked to have more announcement about why we were stopping. I almost did not get off at my stop because nobody said anything over the speaker, and I was not familiar with the area. Tips: Bring extra cash for food!
