Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: The friendliness of the train staff between Hartford and New Haven was probably the best I’ve ever encountered on any form of commercial or public transit. Cons: Enforcement of covid safely measures. If you are going to allow people to take their masks off to drink or eat they should only be allowed to do so in the dinning car. It was very uncomfortable to have people masks off passing around beers and whiskey handles in a coach car with masks down the whole ride just because they were “drinking”. Tips: If you want to be around quit rule abiding people try to see if your train has a “quiet car” and don’t expect to find a seat easily Fri-Sun.
