Its rich history is well depicted at the National Canal Museum, which highlights the Lehigh and Delaware rivers, the site of the reading of the Declaration of Independence. Because of that, Easton observes Heritage Day reenacting that day in history and celebrating it with fireworks.
One of the most visited areas in Easton is Wind Creek Bethlehem, a quaint area where you can enjoy live music and lots of vibrant festivals. But, for sheer family fun, better head off to Dorney Park and the Wildwater Kingdom or visit SteelStacks.
Food and drinks are aplenty in Easton too. Among the good places to try is Fegley's Allentown Brew Works, where you can enjoy locally sourced dishes and beer made from breweries that are powered by 100% renewable energy. Other great places to wine and dine are Ocean, Daddy's Place, and Marblehead Chowder House.
