The busiest bus station in Silver Spring is the bus terminal at 8100 Fenton St, which welcomes buses operated by Greyhound and Peter Pan Bus Lines. There are no Amtrak trains that serve Silver Spring. Also, the city does not have its own dedicated airport but its close proximity to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore make it easy to fly in and out of either the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport or the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
