Pros: The experience to see other areas comfortably. The time wasvery close to driving in good traffic. Being able to leave the driving to Amtrack was great. The recaps in Portland and Seattle were very helpful. Cons: The seats were worn but not uncomfortable. It would be nice for those needing recap service to be boarded first since we take more time. Tips: Always look for the signs before asking questions but if you have to Amtrack personnel are very helpful.

Pros: This is for Amtrak trip to and from Seattle/Vancouver. B.C. - liked the seats on the way down to Seattle with a view to the Ocean and having a table. Enough legroom and space. Cons: Unable to get a good time back to Vancouver. It was 6 p.m. departure back and we couldn’t enjoy the views. Tips: Need to get there in good time for ticket and passport checks/customs. Waiting for customs at the Vancouver end on our return was very tedious.

Pros: The update announcements from staff, quite, and WiFi is available. Cons: At the end of trip the smell of washroom was awful 😖, I cover my nose by mask 😷 because I was sitting close to it. Not only me , other passengers were complaining from the BAD SMELL ,which was spreading from hallway to inside the coach. Tips: No.

Pros: This was a very convenient way to get to the airport in Portland from Eugene. Friendly Amtrak staff and comfortable seats on an uncrowded train. It's a short walk from Union Station to the MAX light rail stop to the airport (be prepared to see many unhoused on the street along the way, though). Cons: It would have helped had the conductor made an announcement about how the delay would impact expected arrival times at the stops along the way. Tips: I can't recommend walking from Union Station to the MAX stop after dark. Otherwise, Amtrak is a great alternative for getting to PDX from the Willamette Valley. Much cheaper and less stressful than driving. Do give yourself time in case the train is running late.

Pros: It is very good, except one thing, the screen was closed which supposed be ON to clarify passengers where are they reach " the route of trip ". Cons: The screen in a hallway of train must be ON , to let passengers know where are they reach. Tips: No.

Pros: Clear instructions on tickets to arrive early due to enhanced border checks, which we did and it was good advice. Very helpful staff at Seattle station. Clear instructions from them. Train was clean and tidy. Tips: Get there early as per the email instructions if non US or Canada national.
