Pros: I like that I don’t need to worry about be driving long distances to go visit my family and I can be relaxed on my way feeling safe and comfortable. Cons: You could improve the service of the waiting of the train by sending an email or message to the people who will be on board telling if any delay. Tips: Be on time.

Pros: The trip is always comfortable and just the length of travel time for me not to have to drive. Cons: N/A. Tips: I only recommend other passengers to wear headsets/Bluetooth or quieter phone conversations to not disturb those that want to nap.

Pros: I always enjoy the ride and trip because it is comfortable and not so long. However, no fault of staff or Amtrak, the passengers that was traveling in seats in front and behind me this trip had taken up all the seats in the area and thrown paper on the floors. I think had gotten the seat they had been in. They were loud and walked the entire ride of the trip but made it safely to my destination. Thank you... Cons: Everything was great... Tips: Be courteous of the other passengers.

Pros: I arrived at the train station (poor excuse at that) at 5:30 am for my 5:54 a.m departure only to be told that the train would not arrive until 7:11 a.m. The train did not actually arrive until about 7:30. I was told that we would make up the time in Longview, that we did not need to change the time of our arrival. This was untrue too. There is so much traffic for the trains that we had to stop and wait for trains several times. The train infrastructure just isn't there. The train needs a deep clean and maybe some updating. I like riding in a train in general. I certainly like the train seats better than airplane seats; there is more room between seats, you can truly recline, you have 2 plugs to plug into. The bathrooms were a bit narrow and are a bit difficult to do my business because I am a large person. It would be next to impossible for a person in a wheel-chair to use the bathrooms there because the hall was extremely narrow and the bathrooms very small. Staff was super kind to me and assisted me without hesitation. Cons: Deep clean the train. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. Fix the latches on the doors to the bathroom. Allow more space for people with handicaps and for wider people....we have to pee too. Tips: If you are going for long distance travel, try and get a private cabin so you can sleep flat.

Pros: The train is a nice way to travel when you don't want to drive. I hope to reserve a roomette next time for more privacy and comfort. I am thankful for Wanderu. Cons: To have the option to reserve a roomette or room. Tips: Please try making travel plans with Wanderu.

Pros: I like taking the train always clean never loud noise and very comfortable. Cons: Install wi-fi on the train cars that would be nice because I take my laptop everywhere and there is no wi-fi service on board. Tips: Very relaxing, just remember there is no wi-fi services on Amtrak passenger cars.

Pros: Not much on that trip, I'm sure the Holiday was the reason for the full load. Cons: Although the virus is not as bad, that particular car wasn't sanitized or cleaned before we boarded and just enough seats for those boarding. Tips: No, the trip is usually great affordable. I'm sure it was just a Holiday crunch and priced a little more....
