About Southeastern Stages

Founded in 1933 by A. C. Shipman and J. W. Hughes, Southeastern Stages has a long legacy of providing reliable, affordable bus transportation. The carrier has grown from a small motorcoach company operating on dirt roads to the premier bus service it is today, serving 25 cities across the Southeastern U.S. including in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Southeastern Stages features a fleet of 40 modern buses with a high standard of passenger safety. Their buses were some of the first in the region to adopt vehicles with advanced collision avoidance technology, and Southern Stages has one of the largest fleets of ADA-compliant coaches in the Southeast. To keep the fleet up and running, Southeastern Stages takes pride in frequent, proactive maintenance schedules with trained and experienced technicians for every coach in their service.

In addition to superior safety features, Southeastern Stages offers various amenities for comfort and convenience, such as free Wi-Fi, reclining seats, overhead reading lights, and restrooms. Power outlets are also available in the majority of buses, and Southeastern Stages is working diligently to equip the remainder of the fleet.
