Konstanz is a city in southern Germany along the Swiss border. The Rhine River splits the city in half right before it feeds into Lake Constance, and this scenic setting makes Konstanz a popular leisure town in Germany. The historic Old Town quarter, unscathed by bombs in World War II, is remarkably preserved, with heavy Swiss influence.
