Pros: I was disappointed to have to take the bus to Sacramento but it was ok and comfortable. I had fun on the train and appreciated being able to purchase food and drinks. Cons: COVID is still rampant and I wish masks were required. I wish I could have taken the train the entire trip from Truckee to San Jose - the bus was ok but not great. Tips: You are allowed to bring food although the food and drinks were reasonably priced. Bring water.
