Union Station in New Haven is Connecticut’s most important transportation hub and is also one of the busiest stations in Amtrak’s national rail network. The station serves interstate Amtrak passenger trains that run along the Northeast Corridor between Washington, DC and Boston. Additionally, there are several commuter rail services operated by Amtrak, MTA and CTrail that connect New Haven to the likes of New York and Hartford. Union Station also accommodates CTtransit’s local buses services as well as intercity bus travel from carriers including Greyhound and Peter Pan Bus Lines.
