Amtrak

Pros: Plenty of room. Lights were good to read by. Cons: Business class coach had monitors where next destinations and ETA could be posted. None worked. This would definitely be a benefit since conducters voice could not be heard sometimes.Where are electrical outlets? There were none. Tips: With bluetooth, there should be monitors on each coach AND in each station. The train was running 16 minutes late but we had to call to get status.

Pros: I enjoyed the view and the ride! Tips: If you have never traveled on a train you should add it to your bucket list!! It is reasonably priced and the ride is very enjoyable!!

Amtrak Missouri River Runner

Pros: This was the first time I'd ridden on a new train. It was very nice, quite and smooth riding most of the time. The windows seemed to be cleaner/bigger and the view was good. The staff was great and very helpful with your needs. I doubt I will ever drive to Hillsboro again. The price of the ticket was much cheaper than my driving, too. The food I chose was great, a little pricy, but that was my choice., and glad to have a good variety. Overall, very pleasant. Cons: I honestly can't think of anything but then I am a lone passenger.
