Amtrak California Zephyr

Pros: The staff were so polite and very helpful and they came by and check on the passengers and made sure everything is going good 💯. I rate them them very excellent I would recommend a lot of my people. Cons: The bathroom to cleaner the disinfectant spray for the toilet were just a little low and that was all. The kitchen people very nice and helpful would recommend people to go Amtrak. Tips: Please enjoy a ride on Amtrak very affordable and very comfortable and easy to get where you need to be and also the staff is very very helpful and they will send you in the right direction.

Main departure station: Reno Amtrak Train Station

The Amtrak Station in Reno is one of the main travel hubs in the city and opened in 1868. Located on North Center St, the station is surrounded by the casinos, restaurants, and hotels which put Reno on the map. Due to its downtown location, the station waiting area and the train tracks are actually placed below ground level. The California Zephyr train line passes through this station on its route from Chicago to Emeryville as well as Amtrak Thruway buses which connect to Sacramento.

The Amtrak Station is a part of Salt Lake Central Station, the principal transportation hub in Salt Lake City. The station is within walking distance from the Bus Terminal, allowing you to easily transfer to bus service on Amtrak Thruway or Jefferson Lines.
