Lewisburg is on the National Register of Historic Places, with some fun places to visit, including Samek Art Museum and Lewisburg Children's Museum. Outdoorsy persons can visit the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership with rivers and nature and the Chillisquaque Creek for fishing.
To explore the history, you can visit Bucknell University to see the Georgian buildings, landscaped grounds, and old architecture. There are so many fun things to do while in Lewisburg, like the Campus Theatre, a historic movie theatre, and the Lewisburg Farmers Market (with plenty of delicious fresh produce). Wine lovers in Lewisburg will be pleased with locations like Fero Vineyards and Winery and Smiling Chameleon Draft House. The Rollermills Antique Center is the best place to visit for collectibles, while the Fantasy Escape Room is fun to check out during the weekend.

The station still serves as the city’s primary transportation hub and welcomes over half a million passengers annually. The Harrisburg Transportation Center is the departure point for Amtrak’s Keystone Service to New York City and a stop on the Pennsylvanian route from New York City to Pittsburgh. Besides train service, bus service on Jefferson Lines, Fullington Trailways, and Greyhound operates through this station. Located in downtown Harrisburg, the station is a quick walk from Capitol Park and some of the city’s top restaurants and shopping.
