Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: The train was an easy way to travel. I read and relaxed instead of driving. The ticket was less than the cost of gas, and my business seat was really comfortable. I really enjoyed the Starbucks coffee, too. Cons: More staff on board. The engineer was doing double duty as conductor. A second staff member ran the snack bar. If there had been a problem, it would have been difficult to get a staff member to help. I have an injury and needed help getting my suitcase on and off the train. Because the train was under staffed, the engineer was a little bothered when I asked for help. He did help, though.
