Hampton is bustling with fun things to do for people of all ages and offers a thriving beer scene with popular names like St. George Brewing Company. Every year, Hampton organizes The Festival, which reenacts the 18th century Hampton when pirates overran it. If you can't wait till The Festival, the downtown Hampton area is located at the waterfront, with restaurants, art galleries, pubs, marinas, and a waterfront park.

You can easily travel to Hampton by bus. Greyhound offers the most routes, but you can also find lines from Wanda Coach. Hampton Roads Transit provides bus, ridesharing, light rail, paratransit, and ferry within the city.
