Pros: It was very relaxing. The driver was terrific - he put everyone at ease. Cons: The information desk. I was actually sent to the wrong gate. A senior discount could be provided. Other companies provide this. Tips: Arrive on time because the bus leaves on time!

September 4, 2023- Couples trip

Peter Pan Lines

Pros: Our bus station was not the one in which we took the bus, as it was so far away from our hotel and we didn't have another choice on the website; so, I commented this issue to the bus staff and they solved our problem so quickly. They've let us pick up the bus in that station and were so kind. Totally recommended! 👍🤓. Cons: I think maybe it would be helpful for the travelers to have some code for their own luggages that go into the bus store, because you are not seeing your luggage during the trip, and that may causes losses.

City Information

Barnstable

Hyannis, sometimes called the "Capital of the Cape," is the biggest and most vibrant of the seven sprawling villages that comprise the town of Barnstable. Barnstable, and Hyannis within it, is located in the middle of Cape Cod, one of the most iconic summer destinations in New England.

Indeed, the harbor village of Hyannis is a presidential choice for a trip since it was one of John F. Kennedy's favorite vacation spots. Although the beachfront Kennedy Compound is private property, you can visit the JFK Hyannis Museum to learn all about the Kennedys' relationship with the area.

To develop your own relationship with Cape Cod, shop and eat along the vibrant Main Street or take boatbuilding classes at the waterfront Cape Cod Maritime Museum. Windsurfers will be happy to know they can sail the winds of Kalmus Park Beach. Outside of Hyannis, the rest of Barnstable is graced with expanses of white-sand beaches, golf clubs, beautiful marshes, and marinas where boats leave for whale-watching tours.

Cape Cod's closest major airport is Logan International Airport in Boston. Traveling from Boston to Cape Cod is easy on Peter Pan buses to Hyannis. Seasonal commuter rail trains also connect to Hyannis in the summer. Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, two islands off the Cape, are just a ferry ride away from the Hyannis waterfront.

Boston

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the country, but it is kept young and fresh with the help of over 150,000 students who flock to the city’s prestigious universities every year. Beantown’s many sights and activities celebrate American history, prolific sports teams, and New England seafood. So let's spill the tea (into the harbor, if you will):

Boston's Freedom Trail is the best way to see the city on foot and visit some of the most iconic landmarks of the American Revolution: from Bunker Hill and the USS Constitution to the Old North Church and Faneuil Hall. The Freedom Trail officially begins in Boston Common, the oldest public park in the U.S. and a beautiful spot for walking, picnicking, or ice skating in the winter. Foodies will love tasting the Italian cuisine in the North End and the modern eateries of South End, while sports fans can tour Fenway Park, and art lovers can explore the expansive Museum of Fine Arts.

From Boston, travelers can easily get to the beachy summer destination of Cape Cod, or surrounding states like New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island. With four main train stations and several bus stops in the city, as well as Boston Logan Airport (which, by the way, has some excellent airport food), Boston is a central hub for travel throughout New England and beyond.
