Ardmore is a small, unincorporated town about 10 miles west of Philadelphia. Ardmore is one of the largest and wealthiest communities in the Philadelphia Main Line region, which is a string of suburbs located along the historic Pennsylvania Railroad Main Line. Today, Ardmore is a popular place to live for professionals who commute into Philly on the SEPTA Regional Rail and for academics associated with nearby Bryn Mawr College and Haverford College.

New Carrollton is a small town in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, located about 13 miles northeast of the nation's capital.
