Ardmore is a small, unincorporated town about 10 miles west of Philadelphia. Ardmore is one of the largest and wealthiest communities in the Philadelphia Main Line region, which is a string of suburbs located along the historic Pennsylvania Railroad Main Line. Today, Ardmore is a popular place to live for professionals who commute into Philly on the SEPTA Regional Rail and for academics associated with nearby Bryn Mawr College and Haverford College.
Ardmore has some famous historical sights, including many homes built in the 1700s and two houses designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Other agencies, such as the FBI Academy and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, are also located on the base, though sadly, NCIS isn't actually filmed there.

In addition, there are movie theatres, museums, golf parks, and many more rivers and lakes. If you want a great all-rounder-town, then Quantico is the one you should visit.
The Amtrak Northeast Regional and Amtrak Carolinian stop in Quantico from Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and New York. If you're driving, know that you'll have to pass through the Marine Corps Base and present valid driver's license to pass on to town.
