Providence to Aberdeen bus

Though some might say that it is overshadowed by nearby Boston, Providence is an interesting destination on its own. The Providence airport is located in nearby Warwick which is only a 6 miles’ drive from the city. The main bus hub for Providence is found at the Rhode Island Convention Center Parking Garage, where travelers could catch a bus from Greyhound or Peter Pan Bus Lines. The main Amtrak train station is located just a 10-minute walk across the Woonasquatucket River.

Aberdeen is a small Maryland city between Baltimore and Philadelphia. The city developed around the U.S. Army Proving Ground established at the site in 1917, and to this day, Aberdeen is a vital center for military research and development. Baseball fans also know Aberdeen as the home of the Minor League IronBirds, who play in Ripken Stadium.

When visiting Aberdeen, one of the best spots for outdoor recreation is Susquehanna State Park in nearby Havre de Grace, Maryland. Northeast Regional trains stop in Aberdeen multiple times each day on the routes between Boston and Virginia Beach. Train travel from Aberdeen makes it easy to spend a weekend in New York, Philadelphia, or Washington after just a quick ride. Air travelers can also take an Amtrak train to Wilmington or Baltimore to connect to the nearest airports: Wilmington Philadelphia Regional Airport and BWI Marshall Airport.
