Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: This is my very first Amtrak train ride in the 42 years I’ve lived in the U.S. I decided to upgrade to business class just to see how the ride was gonna be. It was perfect as it was quiet. During the exit though towards the first car, the urine smell was so bad as we were walking through the first car of the coach section and that’s when I saw the restroom. Because of that, I tried to upgrade to business class for my return trip last October 13th. Other than that, I enjoyed my ride. Also thanks to Sammy, the conductor, who assisted me with my suitcase. Cons: Maybe put up signs in the restroom to throw away the toilet seat cover or the TP that people drop on the floor. Tips: Stay as far away from the restrooms as you’d never know how clean other passengers could be.
