Greyhound

Pros: We arrived 15mins early. Bus driver was nice both times. Decent trip, took a nap on the bus actually! Cons: Nothing really. It’s a bus. Tips: Bring a snack and water, maybe a blanket.

Adirondack Trailways

Pros: I have taken this trip with Megabus, Greyhound and OurBus. Trailways is the best of them. I will be booking with this company from now on. Tips: Surpasses Megabus by a large margin. Very friendly drivers.

27 May 2022- Couples trip

OurBus

Pros: Price and convenience. Cons: The first bus was not identified as OurBus. We were not told we’d have to change buses at the Buffalo Airport, nor did we know we’d have to get off with all our luggage at the Canadian border for Customs. The first bus did NOT have WiFi, but it was very comfortable. The second bus was really a shuttle, and it was not well sprung, but it DID have WiFi. Tips: I forgot that I was supposed to update ArriveCAN the day before our trip, so I was a bit stressed with the driver telling us to hurry up, but we weren’t the only ones. That’s why we were late.

28 March 2022- Visiting family

OurBus

Pros: It was a comfortable ride all the way. Also the fact that we arrived on time was good. Cons: The drivers need to show more empathy. The driver who took us from Rochester to Buffalo actually was friendly and more empathetic. The company actually needs to help passengers by reminding them of items and things they need before they board the bus. Tips: Make sure u have all you need to board the bus especially if you are going to Canada. The driver made me stand in d cold to fill the arrive Can app. He could have been more considerate especially since it was freezing cold that day.
