About Sagalés

Sagalés is a Spanish coach company that operates in Catalonia in northeast Spain, known for the cities of Barcelona, Tarragona and Girona, as well as the beautiful peaks of the Pyrenees Mountains. Back in the day, it was simply a family company with a series of horses and wagons that connected cities. But, after 375 years, they’ve made a lot of progress!

There’s a mixed schedule of urban, intercity, express and night coach services that create a network of 22 regular routes. Each day, Sagalés runs around 105 trips to 6 cities in the region. And, best of all, tickets start at just SEK 89.30 to cities all across the country.

Ever innovative, Sagalés was the first company in Catalonia to introduce smartcard payments. It continues to put the comfort of its passengers front and centre in all it does. As a result, passengers are able to relax in air-conditioned vehicles and make use of complimentary onboard WiFi.

Sagalés has been an official partner of Wanderu since 2018. What does this mean for you? It means you have a simple and easy way to explore the latest Sagalés schedules, as well as purchase the cheapest Sagalés tickets without the extra fees.

Sagalés Coach Guide & FAQs

Yes, Sagalés offers WiFi on their coaches. Although most trips with Sagalés will have WiFi as advertised, some coaches might not come equipped with WiFi and onboard WiFi can lose its connection in rural areas. We recommend you bring a book or download a film just to play it safe. Sagalés WiFi is generally best used for surfing the web, checking emails and chatting with friends; you shouldn’t count on the WiFi to binge-watch your favourite show.

Sagalés does not offer power sockets on their coaches at this time. We suggest you charge up your laptop ahead of time and bring a power bank for your phone to extend its battery life for the duration of the trip. And remember—a good book doesn’t require any power.

On a typical day, Sagalés has 105 scheduled coach trips in total. However, the exact departure and arrival times vary depending on the day and route. The best way to find the exact schedule for your trip is to use the search tool on this page.

No, Sagalés does not offer will call tickets. You should purchase your tickets online and make sure you have everything you need to board before you arrive at the station.

Yes, Sagalés requires you to present an ID to an agent to be allowed to board the coach. Make sure you have identification issued by a government agency that meets the carrier’s requirements. Alternative IDs, such as a college ID, won’t work.

No, there are no bathrooms available on Sagalés coaches. Though there are no bathrooms onboard, typically breaks are scheduled in the itinerary to allow passengers to use bathroom facilities along the way.

Sagalés does not offer meals or beverages onboard. We recommend you bring a drink and some snacks for your trip. We also suggest packing a reusable water bottle with you to reduce your impact on the environment. However, note that most coaches do not allow you to bring your own alcoholic drinks.

Yes, Sagalés requires that all passengers have printed tickets to board the coach. When you book with Wanderu and activate your account, you will be able to easily find and download your tickets for most coaches.

Sagalés focuses on delivering a great travel experience at a low price and currently does not offer premium features like extra legroom or onboard entertainment. But these days, between your laptop, tablet, smartphone and e-reader, you’re the master of your own entertainment even on longer journeys.
