Union Station is one of Worcester's most beautiful buildings, which finished up a full restoration in 1999. Its impressive interior continues inside with high ceilings and spacious waiting areas. The station is the main transport hub of the area, with Amtrak and MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority) trains, plus intercity coach services by WRTA (Worcester Regional).
