Grover Beach is a small beach town in San Luis Obispo, between Oceano and Pismo Beach. It's popularly known as the location of the Pacific Crossing cable Landing station. The main highlight is Grover beach, ideal for nature lovers and fun in the sun. The Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area offers fun outdoor activities, including horse riding and driving motor ATVs, plus biplane rides, skydiving, and golfing.
Grover Beach features a laidback downtown area where you can check out restaurants, theatrical performances, and shopping centers. The small city organizes annual festivals and celebrations like the South County Holiday Parade, the Stone Soup Music Festival, and Street Faire.

The Portland Transportation Center is located at 100 Thompsons Pt Rd, about two miles from Portland's Old Port area. Concord Coach Lines coaches and Amtrak's Downeaster trains en route to Boston or Brunswick stop at this station. Inside the station, you'll find plenty of seating, restrooms, vending machines, and information desks for each travel company. In addition, there is plenty of paid parking in front of the station available to passengers.
