Amtrak Empire Builder

Pros: The scenery and observation car. Cons: The condition of the tracks in many places was deplorable. There was so much lurching from side to side. One lady fell near our seat and hit her head due to the sudden lurching. Seems like this and the noisy doors between the cars could be improved upon in modern America! Tips: Bring your own snacks and a small blanket and pillow if traveling coach overnight. There is decent food available in the dining car and snacks and drinks available for a price.
