Once an industrial powerhouse, Toledo houses many important cultural institutions in the state of Ohio. The train depot is in downtown Eugene, just north of 6th Avenue. The depot has indoor and outdoor seating, and there's a mix of local shops and restaurants, like the Morning Glory Cafe and the Black Wolf Supper Club, right across the street. If you have time to kill, you can explore Willamette and find coffee shops, dessert shops, and cafes nearby. Or swing by one of the vending machines in the depot on your way to your Amtrak train.

The majority of Toledo’s ground travel operates from MLK Plaza at 415 Emerald Ave. The station was named in honor of the late Martin Luther King Jr and opened in 1950. The station offers today’s travelers many amenities, including customer service staff, restrooms, and a Subway on-site. The station serves Amtrak’s Capitol Limited line from Chicago to Washington, D.C., as well as the Lake Shore Limited line from Chicago to New York City. Intercity bus service on Jefferson Lines and Barons Bus Lines also runs through MLK Plaza.
