Pros: The update announcements from staff, quite, and WiFi is available. Cons: At the end of trip the smell of washroom was awful 😖, I cover my nose by mask 😷 because I was sitting close to it. Not only me , other passengers were complaining from the BAD SMELL ,which was spreading from hallway to inside the coach. Tips: No.

Pros: Clear instructions on tickets to arrive early due to enhanced border checks, which we did and it was good advice. Very helpful staff at Seattle station. Clear instructions from them. Train was clean and tidy. Tips: Get there early as per the email instructions if non US or Canada national.

Pros: Beautiful sunset rail trip leaving Vancouver south to Seattle. On return north the coastal section that was dark coming down was sunset. You get a fantastic view both directions sitting on ocean side of train. Cons: When Amtrak train is delayed passengers should not be expected to stand in line up for over 45 minutes. Especially with an empty station with hundreds of benches. Not very COVID smart as well.

King Street Station is the main station for Amtrak train service and Greyhound bus service in Seattle, with connections to local public transit like the Link Light Rail and King County Metro at the International District/Chinatown station one block away. Located near downtown Seattle in the trendy Pioneer Square neighborhood, King Street Station opened in 1906 and continues to impress travelers with its restored Italian architecture and Venetian-style clocktower.
