Union Station in New Haven is Connecticut’s most important transportation hub and is also one of the busiest stations in Amtrak’s national rail network. The station serves interstate Amtrak passenger trains that run along the Northeast Corridor between Washington, DC and Boston. Additionally, there are several commuter rail services operated by Amtrak, MTA and CTrail that connect New Haven to the likes of New York and Hartford. The Dover Transportation Center at 33 Chestnut St is a stop on Amtrak's Downeaster route between Brunswick, Maine, and Boston. The Dover Transportation Center leases out the first floor to Bubby's Bagel & Deli, which opens daily.
